It is a rather short car ride to the closest highway, such as I-85, from any location in this community, and parking is quite easy. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be difficult in Gantt as a result of the low service level. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the community, and the closest bus stop is generally very close by. Gantt is not especially appropriate for cycling as bicycle riders encounter quite a few hills, and there are few bike lanes. It is also inconvenient for pedestrians to get around in Gantt since meeting daily needs is difficult without a vehicle.
