Freeport is an extremely good part of the Portland metropolitan area for driving. The majority of houses for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as I-295, and it is very easy to come across a parking spot. However, the transit in Freeport is not very accessible. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the community, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. Freeport is not very appropriate for biking since there are a fair number of elevation changes, and the cycling network is rather limited. This community is also not very conducive to those who travel as pedestrians because few daily errands can be run without a vehicle.
