Transportation
The preferred approach to move around in Forest Village is very often driving. Most homes for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, and coming across a place to park is generally easy. However, commuting by transit can be difficult in Forest Village due to the infrequent service. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the community, and it is very easy to get to a nearby bus stop from most residences. Forest Village is not very appropriate for bicycling because the topography is not particularly flat, and the cycling infrastructure is fairly poor. Getting around as a pedestrian is also not very feasible for property owners in this community as very few common errands can be run without needing a car.
Services
Residents will appreciate that no matter where their property is situated in Forest Village, primary schools are close by. In contrast, high schools are not especially plentiful and thus not always within a short distance. With respect to food, it is rarely feasible for property owners in this part of the Greater Hartford metropolitan area to access the nearest supermarket as pedestrians. Residents are served by around 10 restaurants and cafes as well.
