Driving is a great means of transportation in First Hill. Most houses for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as I-90, and it is very convenient to park. However, traveling by public transit is difficult in First Hill. Nonetheless, property owners have access to a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually around the corner. Cycling is at times difficult in First Hill because bicycle riders encounter a considerable amount of elevation changes. Thankfully, some enjoyable sectors for bicycling can be found, and there are a fair number of bike lanes. First Hill is also not very conducive to pedestrians since meeting daily needs is occasionally challenging without a car.

Services

There are only a few primary schools in First Hill and therefore they can be a long pedestrian trip away. In addition, this neighborhood does not have any high schools. As far as eating is concerned, it is often practical for house buyers in First Hill to buy groceries without a car. A small variety of restaurants and coffee shops can be found as well.

Character

A highlight of First Hill is its vast selection of green spaces. Green spaces, including Aubrey Davis Park, are especially well-situated and there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to unwind in, which results in them being very easy to reach from the majority of locations in the neighborhood. As there are very few people out and about on the streets, this area remains relatively calm.
