It is especially convenient to park, and nearby highways are particularly easy to drive to from any home in this part of Jackson. On the other hand, Farmington Heights is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighborhood is served by a few bus lines, and it is very easy to find a nearby bus stop from most properties. Farmington Heights is not very amenable to cycling because the bicycling network is rather limited, and there are a fair number of slopes. This neighborhood is also not very conducive to people who prefer to travel as pedestrians as most day-to-day needs are at times challenging to meet without a vehicle.
