A majority of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are reasonably well-suited for pedestrians; many daily errands can be run without a vehicle, and there are also a good number of businesses in proximity. Bicycling is rather prevalent in this part of Salt Lake City since the terrain is fairly flat. The favored approach to move around in Fairpark is usually a car. It is convenient to come across a parking spot, and many houses for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as I-15. On the other hand, traveling by transit can be occasionally challenging in Fairpark due to the low service level. Nevertheless, the closest rapid transit station, such as Fairpark Station, North Temple Bridge / Guadalupe and Jackson / Euclid Station on the 704 Green Line and 701 Blue Line, is typically a short distance away from most houses in the neighborhood. There is the Salt Lake Central Station and North Temple Station on the 750 FrontRunner. Residents have access to about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are typically very close by.
It is a short distance to reach primary schools from anywhere in this part of Salt Lake City. However, high schools are not very abundant and accordingly tend to require a rather long trip to get to. Concerning eating, the closest supermarket in Fairpark is usually only a very short pedestrian trip away. Moreover, a restaurant is generally just around the corner, and residents are served by a few cafes as well.
Fairpark offers a variety of experiences for those who enjoy a vibrant atmosphere and spending time in green spaces. Although this neighborhood is not known for its vibrancy, with its a few bars, there are options for nighttime activities. However, there are approximately 40 green spaces nearby for residents to discover, such as Riverside Park and Constitution Park, and they are very well-situated, making it very easy to access them.
