It is easy to find a place to park, and many properties for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Harbor Tunnel Throughway. In contrast, commuting by transit can be challenging in Fairfield Area by reason of the infrequent service. Thankfully, the neighborhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily very close by. Fairfield Area is not particularly convenient for people who get around as pedestrians because carrying out daily needs is occasionally difficult without a car. The bicycle is a somewhat poor means of transportation in Fairfield Area as there are a fair number of elevation changes, and the bicycling network is not especially well-developed.
