The car is often the preferred method to navigate Ewa Gentry. Parking is generally easy. On the other hand, Ewa Gentry is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the community is served by approximately 10 bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Most houses for sale in this part of the Urban Honolulu metropolitan area are located in places that are not especially conducive to those who prefer to travel as pedestrians as running common errands is difficult without a car. Despite the fact that there are a limited number of elevation changes, Ewa Gentry is also not particularly bicycling-friendly because the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive.

House buyers in this community will appreciate that a grocery store is always only an extended pedestrian trip away. In addition, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and a small selection of cafes is available as well. Regarding education, property owners will find that no matter where their house is located in this community, primary schools are nearby.
