The car is usually the best approach to move around in Erwin. It is especially convenient to park, and most homes for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, such as I-99. Traveling as a pedestrian is not very feasible for property owners in Erwin as very few common errands can be run without needing to get in a vehicle. Biking is also challenging in this area as the cycling network is rather limited. Thankfully, there are few elevation changes in much of the area to confront cyclists.
