Elkton is especially car friendly. It is very easy to park, and most real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway, such as John F Kennedy Memorial Hwy. On the other hand, getting around by transit can be difficult in Elkton as a result of the low service level. Thankfully, house owners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most residences. This district is not very conducive to cycling because this area is home to fairly poor bicycling infrastructure, and there are a good number of elevation changes. Getting around as a pedestrian is also not especially feasible for property owners in this area since many day-to-day needs are at times challenging to meet without the use of a car.
