Cars are a great mode of transportation in East Sumter. Parking is quite easy, and many properties for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as Robert E Graham Freeway. East Sumter is not very suited for bicycling because there are very few bike lanes. Thankfully, bicycle riders do not encounter serious hills. Getting around as a pedestrian is also not very convenient for house buyers in East Sumter since meeting daily needs is impractical without a car.
