The best method to move around in East End is very often a car. It is easy to park, and most real estate listings are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as W Virginia Tpke. On the other hand, the public transit service in East End is rather limited. Nonetheless, the neighborhood is served by around 10 bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by.

In this area, locals will usually be able to reach primary schools without a car. In contrast, high schools are not especially abundant and consequently tend to require a long trip to get to.
