Transportation
Driving is an excellent transportation option in this neighborhood. It is very convenient to access a parking spot, and it is a rather short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Seddon Rusty Goode Freeway, from anywhere in Eagle Lake. However, this area is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighborhood is linked by approximately 10 bus lines, and it is especially convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. It is impractical for pedestrians to get around in Eagle Lake because many daily needs are at times difficult to meet without a car. Eagle Lake is also not very appropriate for biking as there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave, and the bicycling infrastructure is fairly poor.
Services
It is a reasonably short pedestrian trip to reach primary schools from most houses for sale in this neighborhood. On the other hand, there are only a very small number of high schools and consequently they can be a very long distance away. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. Regarding eating, in all but a few cases, a vehicle is required to shop for groceries in one of approximately 10 stores. There are also a few opportunities for those who care about restaurants and cafes within a short distance.
Character
There is a vast selection of green spaces in Eagle Lake. There are around 20 green spaces close by for residents to discover, such as Southwest Park and Renaissance Park, making them easy to get to from most locations within this area. Lastly, it remains relatively serene in this part of the city, as there are very few pedestrians.
