It is convenient for pedestrians to get around in Downtown Boise; many daily needs can be met without the use of a car, and plenty of businesses are fairly close at hand. Bicycling is fairly embraced in Downtown Boise since the bicycling infrastructure is rather well-developed, and there are a limited number of elevation changes. Driving is very often the favored way to move around in this part of Boise City. It is very convenient to come across a parking spot, and many homes for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as I-184. In contrast, the transit system in Downtown Boise is not very accessible. Thankfully, homeowners are served by approximately 10 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually around the corner.

Both primary and secondary schools are convenient to get to as a pedestrian from most properties for sale in Downtown Boise. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools. In terms of food, it is usually practical for house buyers in Downtown Boise to buy general and specialty groceries as pedestrians. Furthermore, there are over 150 restaurants and approximately 30 coffee shops to experience in Downtown Boise. It is also a reasonably short pedestrian trip to a decent choice of clothing stores, for instance on Bannock Street.
Character
Those who enjoy a vibrant atmosphere and spending time in green spaces will feel at home in Downtown Boise. Even though the ambience is not the most lively in this neighborhood finding one of the around 40 bars is very easy since they are generally situated in very convenient locations. 8th Street in particular offers a broad selection of places to go out at night. However, there are approximately 40 green spaces close by for residents to visit, including Ann Morrison Park and Fort Boise Park, and they are very well-distributed, making it very easy to get to them.
