The favored way to navigate Downe is very often a car. It is especially convenient to come across a place to park. Even though riding a bicycle is made easier by the generally flat terrain, the bike is a fairly poor means of transportation in Downe as the cycling infrastructure is quite bad. Many of the houses for sale in this township are located in places that are also not very suitable for pedestrians as running daily errands is very impractical without a car.
