District 8 is especially car friendly. Most properties for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, such as I-220, and it is very convenient to park. In contrast, District 8 is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, residents have access to a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Traveling as a pedestrian in this district is not very popular, even though many daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. The bicycle is a rather poor method of transportation in District 8 as there are few bike lanes. Thankfully, there are a limited number of hills to challenge cyclists.

A car is often required in District 8 to access one of approximately 20 supermarkets. Nonetheless, it is generally a rather short pedestrian trip to the nearest pharmacy, which can supply some staple foods.
