The neighborhood features a variety of housing options, including mostly single detached homes along with townhouses and small apartment buildings. Homes generally date back to the early 1990s, providing a range of sizes suitable for diverse needs. Parking availability is convenient, enhancing accessibility by car throughout the area. Bus lines serve the community with stops located close to residential areas. Residents have access to multiple grocery stores and several dining options, supporting daily conveniences within reasonable reach.

Traveling by car is very easy in District 7. It is especially convenient to park. However, commuting by public transit is challenging in District 7. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the community, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. A majority of the homes for sale in this community are located in areas that are not especially convenient for pedestrians since few daily needs can be met without a vehicle. District 7 is also not particularly amenable to biking because there are a good number of elevation changes, and the cycling network is not very comprehensive.

Services

It is easy to access the closest supermarket as a pedestrian in this area. In addition, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and a small number of coffee shops is available as well. When it comes to education, it can be difficult to get to high schools and primary schools as a pedestrian from properties for sale in District 7.

Character

No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a community, District 7 is a fairly good option. District 7 is very quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. However, access to public green spaces from the majority of locations in the community, such as Sweet Clover Greenway and Hartland Park, is easy since there are approximately 20 of them nearby for residents to explore. Finally, even though this part of Lexington-Fayette is not known for its vibrancy, with its around 20 bars, there are options for nighttime activities.
