District 2 is very car friendly. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway, such as Baltimore Beltway, from any location in this district, and it is easy to access a place to park. However, commuting by transit can be difficult in this area as a result of the low service level. Nonetheless, residents benefit from various rapid transit stations with access to the Metro Subwaylink. There are about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses. Traveling as a pedestrian is not very common in District 2, although many daily needs can be met without a vehicle. It is also challenging to get around by bike in District 2 as cyclists encounter a considerable amount of elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes.

Both primary and secondary schools are convenient to reach as a pedestrian from most homes for sale in this district. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. As far as food is concerned, it is challenging to reach the closest supermarket without the use of a car in District 2. Over 50 supermarkets are situated nearby, and the best choice can be found on streets such as Offutt Road. Moreover, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and house buyers are served by about 30 cafes as well.

People who prefer a calm ambience will enjoy District 2. The noise levels in this district are very low, as the streets tend to be very peaceful. Finally, there are over 200 public green spaces nearby for residents to discover, like Beth Tfiloh Camps and Willow Creek, which results in them being easy to get to from most locations in the district.
