The car is usually the favored method to move around in District 2. Although riding is made easier by the generally flat terrain, this area is not very amenable to bicycling as there are very few bike lanes. It is also very impractical for pedestrians to move around in District 2 because running daily errands is difficult without needing a car.

High schools and primary schools are not plentiful in District 2, and thus not always within a short distance. With respect to food, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed to buy groceries.
