District 2 is a very good area for traveling by car. It is very easy to find a place to park. However, District 2 is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, homeowners have access to about 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. There are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of District 2, even though many day-to-day errands can be run without needing a vehicle. District 2 is also not particularly appropriate for biking because the bicycling network is not very comprehensive. Nonetheless, there are a limited number of elevation changes.

District 2 is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the feel of this area. District 2 is quiet, as the streets are generally calm, although that is not the case closer to one of the railway lines. On the other hand, there are over 50 parks nearby for residents to explore, such as PARD Park and Audubon Park, which results in them being easy to access from a large number of locations in this district. Lastly, even though the atmosphere is not the most lively in this area with its over 100 bars, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located around the corner.
