This district is very car friendly. It is very convenient to park. The bike is a fairly poor mode of transportation in District 2 since there are few bike lanes. Thankfully, there are not many hills to confront cyclists. District 2 is also not very suitable for those who get around as pedestrians as running common errands is challenging without a car.

It is often feasible for property owners in District 2 to purchase groceries as pedestrians. There are also a few options for those who care about restaurants within a short distance. When it comes to education, in District 2, residents will typically be able to reach primary schools without a car. However, it can be challenging to reach high schools as a pedestrian. Most areas in District 2 are reasonably quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several louder sections, especially around the airport (St John The Baptist Parish), one of the railway lines, I-55 or I-10.
