This district is an extraordinarily good area for driving. It is very convenient to find a place to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, such as I-220. However, getting around by transit can be very hard in District 12 due to the low service level. Nonetheless, the district is connected by a few bus lines, and most houses are near a bus stop. Traveling as a pedestrian is not very practical for residents in this area because running daily errands is inconvenient without a car. This area is also not very amenable to bicycling since this district is home to quite poor cycling infrastructure, and the topography is not particularly flat.
Services
There are only a very small number of high schools and primary schools in District 12 and consequently they can be a very long trip away. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools. With regards to eating, a fraction of house buyers in District 12 may have the option to shop for their groceries as pedestrians, while others will have to rely on another means of transportation. There are also a few choices for those who care about restaurants within a short distance.

District 12 offers a relaxed ambience. District 12 is quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor - although that is not the case near the airport (Shreveport Rgnl), I-20, I-220 or the railway line.
