District 10 offers a peaceful neighborhood with an abundance of quiet streets and minimal traffic noise, providing a serene environment. The community features a diverse array of housing options, including many single detached residences and small apartment buildings, mostly constructed around the late 1970s. Residents benefit from over 100 restaurants and coffee shops catering to diverse tastes, along with approximately 20 grocery stores nearby. Educational institutions, including both public and private schools, are conveniently located within a short distance. Well-distributed green spaces like Beaumont Park and -1 enhance the area’s natural appeal. Public bus routes serve many areas, and parking and highway access are especially convenient.

It is easy for pedestrians to navigate District 10; many common errands can be run without a vehicle, and a variety of businesses are reasonably close at hand. In contrast, District 10 is not especially amenable to cycling as there are a fair number of hills for cyclists to brave, and the bicycling network is fairly poor. District 10 is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the community is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most residences. However, cars are a great transportation option in District 10. It is very convenient to come across a place to park, and the majority of homes for sale are a rather short drive from the closest highway.

Services

It is often possible for property owners in District 10 to do their grocery shopping without the need to get in a car. Moreover, those who like to eat in restaurants will have a fair number of options, and house buyers are served by approximately 10 cafes as well. With respect to education, both primary and secondary schools are easy to reach without a vehicle from anywhere in District 10. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools.

Character

The character of District 10 is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. Public green spaces, including Wellington Park and Beaumont Preserve, are very well-spread out and there are about 30 of them close by for residents to relax in, which results in them being easy to reach from many locations within the community. This area is very quiet overall, as the streets are very peaceful.
