Moving around by car is very easy in District 1. Many real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway, such as W Virginia Tpke, and it is especially convenient to park. This district is not very bike-friendly because the cycling network is rather limited, and there are quite a few elevation changes. This district is also not very conducive to people who get around as pedestrians because carrying out day-to-day needs is challenging without a vehicle.
Services
In all but a few cases, a vehicle is needed to buy groceries in one of around 10 stores. Residents of this area benefit from over 50 restaurants as well. Concerning education, locals may find it very difficult to get to high schools and primary schools as pedestrians. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools.
