District 1 offers a tranquil setting with predominantly single detached homes built around the mid-1980s, providing a calm environment for residents. The area features mostly two- and three-bedroom residences, suited for comfortable living. The neighborhood benefits from flat terrain, making access to various locations straightforward. Streets experience minimal noise, contributing to a peaceful atmosphere. While many services require using a vehicle, the nearby supermarkets and essential amenities remain accessible. With a substantial portion of dwellings held by occupants, there is a strong sense of permanence throughout the community. District 1 presents a restful and stable place to settle down.
Cars are an excellent transportation option in District 1. Bicycling is challenging in this district because the cycling network is not very well-developed. Nonetheless, bike riders do not encounter serious elevation changes. Many of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are also not very well-suited for people who prefer to travel as pedestrians because almost no daily needs can be met without a car.
There are no high schools and no primary schools in District 1. With respect to food, in all cases, a vehicle is required to shop for groceries.
District 1 offers a relaxed atmosphere. Most areas in District 1 are very quiet, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.
