Easttown
Devon offers a peaceful and relaxed environment with predominantly single detached homes and row houses built before 1960. The neighborhood benefits from two train stations providing convenient access to the Paoli/Thorndale Line as well as a nearby bus line, making public transit options practical and accessible. Primary schools are available close by, and local grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee shops provide daily conveniences. Quiet surroundings prevail throughout most of the community, supported by nearby parks located just outside its borders. Parking is easy, and vehicular travel is efficient, providing smooth transportation throughout the area.
Devon is very car friendly. Parking is quite easy. Commuting by public transit is also convenient in this community due to 3 train stations (for example, Berwyn and Devon) with access to the Paoli/Thorndale Line and Paoli / Thorndale Line, and a few nearby bus lines. Biking is sometimes difficult in Devon as there are few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of hills. There also aren't many pedestrians out on the streets of this community, although meeting daily needs is convenient without a car.
Residents will find that wherever their house is situated in Devon, primary schools are nearby. On the other hand, home owners may find it difficult to get to high schools without a vehicle. Besides public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. Regarding food, property owners in this community will value that a grocery store is always only a reasonably short distance away. Additionally, Devon is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, and a limited selection of coffee shops can be found as well. It is also a reasonably short distance to a decent variety of clothing stores.
Devon offers a slower-paced atmosphere and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. There are around 10 public green spaces close by for residents to unwind in, like Warren Filipone Memorial Park and Dittmar Park, and they are very well-distributed, resulting in them being easy to reach from the majority of locations in the community. This part of the Greater Philadelphia metropolitan area is also quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case near the railway line.
