This area is a very convenient part of Newark for driving. It is very convenient to find a place to park. However, the public transit infrastructure in Devon is fairly poor. Nonetheless, train stations, such as the Newark with access to the Wilmington / Newark Line and Wilmington/Newark Line, are not particularly far away from most properties in the neighborhood. There are a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally very close by. A majority of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are not especially well-suited for people who prefer to get around as pedestrians because running daily errands is at times difficult without a vehicle. However, this part of the city is moderately amenable to cycling.
It is sometimes possible for house buyers in this neighborhood to buy groceries without the need for a vehicle. In addition, those who like to dine in restaurants will have a fair number of opportunities, and there are also a few coffee shops in Devon. When it comes to education, it is a very short distance to reach primary schools from most houses for sale in Devon. However, high schools are not abundant and thus tend to require a very long trip to get to. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools.
No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a neighborhood, Devon is a good option. Although the atmosphere is not the liveliest in this area with the bars in nearby neighborhoods, it is easy to find a place to grab a drink as they are generally located close by. Devon is great for those who need quiet surroundings, as the streets are generally very calm.
