Denville
Denville offers a serene atmosphere characterized by quiet streets and several accessible parks, including Gardner Field Recreational Area and Tourne County Park. The community’s housing primarily consists of spacious single detached homes and townhouses, many built around 1967, featuring three or more bedrooms. For daily needs, residents find convenient access to over 50 restaurants and cafes, a nearby pharmacy, and primary schools scattered throughout the township. Commuting by car is straightforward, with quick routes to major highways and ample parking available. Public transit options include train stations on prominent lines and nearby bus stops, supporting varied transportation preferences.
The car is very often the best way to move around in Denville. The majority of homes for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, such as I-80, and finding a place to park is easy. In contrast, Denville is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, commuters are served by the Mount Tabor and Denville with access to the Morris & Essex Line and Montclair-Boonton Line. The township is linked by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually a short distance away. Denville is not particularly suited for bicycling since the cycling infrastructure is rather limited, and there is a significant amount of elevation changes. Getting around as a pedestrian in Denville is also not very common, even though many day-to-day needs can be carried out without a car.
It is a rather short trip to reach primary schools from any location in Denville. However, high schools are not plentiful and thus not always within a short distance. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools. As far as food is concerned, it is occasionally possible for house buyers in Denville to buy their groceries in one of approximately 10 stores as pedestrians. Nonetheless, it is generally a rather short trip to the nearest pharmacy, which can provide some staple foods. A restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and residents are served by about 10 cafes as well.
Home buyers who prefer a relaxed environment will enjoy Denville. There are over 50 green spaces nearby for residents to explore, such as Jannarone Park and Morris County 9/11 Memorial, making it easy to reach them. The noise levels in this part of the Greater New York metropolitan area are also very low, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor.
