Delanco is a peaceful township known for its well-maintained green spaces like Pennington Park, offering inviting outdoor settings. The preferred way to navigate this township is often a car. It is straightforward to park. However, commuting by public transit is sometimes challenging in Delanco. Nevertheless, commuters profit from the Cornwells Heights and Torresdale with access to the Trenton Line. Rapid transit stations, such as Delanco Light Rail Station and Riverside Light Rail Station on the Riverline Light Rail, are not very far away from most residences in the township. The township is connected by approximately 10 bus lines. Delanco is not particularly bike-friendly because the bicycling network is rather limited. Thankfully, the topography is moderately flat. Many of the homes for sale in this part of the Greater Philadelphia metropolitan area are located in places that are also not very suitable for people who like to travel as pedestrians because few common errands can be run without a vehicle.
Both primary and secondary schools are very easy to access as a pedestrian from anywhere in Delanco. Apart from public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. In terms of food, home buyers in Delanco commonly have to use a car to reach one of around 10 supermarkets. There are also a few choices for those who care about restaurants and cafes within a short distance.
Delanco is a very good township to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. Green spaces, including Glen Foerd on the Delaware and Pleasant Hill Park, are very well-situated and there are about 20 of them nearby for residents to visit, which makes it easy to access them. This township is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor.
