However, traveling by transit can be difficult in Del Mar Estates by reason of the low service level. Nonetheless, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Traveling as a pedestrian in Del Mar Estates is not very common, even though meeting daily needs is easy without a vehicle. This part of the city is also not particularly suited for bicycling as the cycling network is rather poor. Thankfully, there are not many elevation changes to confront bicycle riders.

Primary as well as high schools are easy to access as a pedestrian from most homes for sale in Del Mar Estates. With respect to food, the closest supermarket in this area is generally only an extended trip away. Furthermore, Del Mar Estates is a fairly good place in which to eat out or go to a cafe. Del Mar Estates offers an unique mix of areas that are both busy and quiet. Although the atmosphere is not the liveliest in this part of Clovis with the nightlife venues in nearby neighborhoods, it is very difficult to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located very far. At the same time, this part of the city is excellent for those who need quiet areas, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. Parks aren't well-distributed, making them occasionally challenging to access from numerous locations in the neighborhood. Still, there are a few green spaces nearby for residents to explore, such as Basin 4E.
