Cumberland Mills is especially car friendly. Most real estate listings are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, and it is very easy to park. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be difficult in this part of Westbrook as a result of the low service level. Nonetheless, the neighborhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. Cumberland Mills is not particularly bike-friendly because there are a good number of elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes. Nevertheless, riding a bicycle is rather commonplace.
