This part of the Greater Phoenix metropolitan area is not especially bicycling-friendly since there are a fair number of hills for cyclists to brave. Thankfully, the cycling infrastructure is reasonably extensive. Cortessa is also not very convenient for pedestrians because meeting daily needs is very difficult without a car.

In contrast, it can be very hard to access high schools from properties for sale in Cortessa.
