Getting around as a pedestrian in Compo is not very common, even though meeting day-to-day needs is easy without the use of a car. Biking is also challenging in Compo since there is a considerable amount of elevation changes, and the cycling infrastructure is rather limited.

Services

Primary schools are not numerous in Compo, and accordingly not always within a short distance, and there are no high schools. At the elementary level, both public and private schools can be found. With respect to eating, in all but a limited number of cases, a car is required to purchase groceries in one of approximately 10 stores. However, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and there are also a few cafes in this part of the community.

Character

People who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy Compo. It is easy to access parks in the neighborhood since there are about 20 of them nearby for residents to visit. This part of the community is also fairly good for those who need quiet surroundings, as the streets are reasonably peaceful - although there are still several louder sections, especially near the railway line or Governor John Davis Lodge Tpke.
