A majority of the houses for sale in this city are located in places that are not very conducive to pedestrians as very few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. Commerce is also not very bicycling-friendly since bike riders are faced with a significant amount of elevation changes, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.

High schools and primary schools are not particularly plentiful in Commerce, and thus tend to be a long distance away. Concerning eating, in most cases, a vehicle is required to purchase groceries.
