Most homes for sale in this part of the town are located in places that are not very convenient for pedestrians because running common errands is inconvenient without a car. Collierville is also not particularly appropriate for biking as the topography is not especially flat, and the cycling infrastructure is not especially extensive.

Primary schools are convenient to reach as a pedestrian from any location in Collierville. However, there are only a very small number of high schools and accordingly they can be a very long trip away. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. As far as food is concerned, it is rarely possible for home buyers in Collierville to travel to one of about 20 grocery stores as pedestrians. A limited selection of restaurants and coffee shops is available as well.

Collierville is a very good neighborhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. Most areas in Collierville are very quiet, as the streets are very tranquil.
