Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighborhood, and bus stops are typically around the corner.

It is very easy to access the closest grocery store as a pedestrian in College Estates. In addition, this part of the city is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, and a small selection of cafes can be found as well. Concerning education, property buyers will appreciate that no matter where their house is situated in College Estates, secondary schools are nearby. In contrast, there are only a limited number of primary schools and consequently they can be a long distance away. Property owners can choose between public and private elementary schools.

College Estates is appealing, as it contains both vibrant and quiet areas. Even though the ambience is not the most lively in this area with the bars in nearby neighborhoods, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located around the corner. At the same time, this part of Frederick is wonderful for those who like quiet surroundings, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor.
