Getting around by car is very easy in Cochiti. Parking is easy. In contrast, Cochiti is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the community, and it is very easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most residences. Cochiti is not very amenable to biking as there are very few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of elevation changes. Getting around as a pedestrian is also not very practical for home buyers in this part of the Albuquerque metropolitan area since running common errands is very difficult without needing to resort to a vehicle.
Services
In all cases, a vehicle is required to buy groceries. As far as education is concerned, there are only a very small number of primary schools in Cochiti and consequently they can be a very long pedestrian trip away. Additionally, this community does not contain any high schools.
