Driving is an excellent transportation option in Claymont. It is very easy to park, and it is a short drive to the closest highway, such as I-495, from any location in Claymont. On the other hand, public transit users may have few options in this community due to the service's low frequency. Thankfully, commuters can rely on the Claymont on the Wilmington/Newark Line and Wilmington / Newark Line. The community is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. This part of the Greater Philadelphia metropolitan area is not particularly suitable for pedestrians because few daily needs can be carried out without needing to use a vehicle. Claymont is also not very suited for cycling because bike riders are faced with a considerable amount of elevation changes, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive.
