Primary schools are easily accessible from most locations, enhancing the appeal for educational convenience. Parking is readily available, and most properties are located a short drive from major highways, facilitating easy car travel. Though cycling infrastructure is limited, the calm atmosphere and proximity to essential services make this neighborhood a welcoming place to live.

Cars are a great mode of transportation in this community. It is a short car ride to the nearest highway, such as E Portland Freeway, from any home in Clackamas, and it is especially convenient to come across a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in this community is not very frequent. Nevertheless, homeowners can count on Clackamas Town Center TC MAX Station on the MAX Green Line. Residents benefit from about 10 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally around the corner. This part of the Portland metropolitan area is not particularly suited for bicycling as there are a good number of hills, and the bicycling network is not very well-developed. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not particularly feasible for house buyers in Clackamas because few common errands can be run without needing to get in a vehicle, and numerous businesses are fairly close at hand.

Property owners in this community will be pleased to learn that a grocery store is always only a rather short trip away. There are also a limited number of choices for those who appreciate nearby restaurants and cafes. In terms of education, residents will find that wherever their house is located in Clackamas, primary schools are nearby. In contrast, high schools are not especially numerous and thus may require an extended trip to get to. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and high schools.

Clackamas offers a slower-paced atmosphere and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. This community is very quiet overall, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Lastly, the majority of locations in the community have reasonably good access to parks, like 3-Creeks Natural Area and Riverside Park, since there are over 50 of them close by for residents to check out.
