Nonetheless, the neighborhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Getting around as a pedestrian is not very popular in Chickasaw, despite the fact that many daily needs can be met without a vehicle. On the other hand, this part of the city is fairly amenable to cycling as there are a limited number of hills to challenge cyclists.
It is straightforward to reach the closest supermarket as a pedestrian in Chickasaw. A small number of restaurants can be found in this part of Louisville as well. With respect to education, it is a rather short pedestrian trip to access primary schools from any location in Chickasaw. However, high schools are not particularly numerous and consequently may require an extended distance to get to. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and high schools.
There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Chickasaw. There are a few public green spaces close by for residents to check out, such as Chickasaw Park and Russell Lee Park, which makes them easy to access. Finally, this area remains relatively quiet, thanks to the presence of few pedestrians; however there can be more noise for those who are around I-264 or the railway line.
