Chevy Chase is a fairly pleasant part of Chevy Chase for bike riders. In particular, there are a good number of bike lanes.

Both primary and secondary schools are easy to access without a car from any location in Chevy Chase. Chevy Chase is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the feel of this part of the town. Chevy Chase is quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor, although that is not the case closer to the railway line. On the other hand, public green spaces, including Norwood Park, are very well-located and there are approximately 20 of them nearby for residents to relax in, making it very easy to access them. Lastly, although the atmosphere is not the most lively in this part of the town with its about 10 nightlife venues, there are options for nighttime activities.
