Cherry Valley offers a peaceful and relaxed environment with predominantly single detached homes built around 1986, providing ample space for comfortable living. Three-bedroom homes are especially common, allowing for versatile layouts and uses. This neighborhood benefits from easy accessibility by car, with convenient parking and close proximity to major highways. A few bus lines serve the area, providing additional transportation options. Nearby neighborhoods feature well-distributed parks that are simple to reach, offering outdoor recreation close at hand. Though restaurants and supermarkets are more limited within Cherry Valley itself, surrounding areas provide varied dining and shopping opportunities within a reasonable distance.
This area is very car friendly. Nearby highways are very easy to drive to from any location in this part of the city, and it is especially convenient to access a parking spot. However, Cherry Valley is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually close by. Traveling as a pedestrian in this part of Bartlett is not very common, although many daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle. It is also sometimes difficult to move around by bicycle in Cherry Valley because the terrain is not particularly flat, and there are few bike lanes.
There are only a limited number of primary schools in Cherry Valley and accordingly they can be an extended distance away. Furthermore, this part of the city does not contain any high schools. With regards to food, it is very difficult to get to the nearest supermarket without the use of a car in Cherry Valley. Likewise, those who like to eat in restaurants will have a fair number of opportunities.
No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a neighborhood, Cherry Valley is a fairly good option. Although this part of Bartlett is not known for its vibrancy, with the nightlife venues in nearby neighborhoods, it is easy to find a place to grab a drink as they are generally located close by. Cherry Valley is wonderful for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as there are low levels of noise from traffic. Many locations in the neighborhood have reasonably good access to green spaces, like Madison Arthur Byrd Park, since there are a few of them nearby for residents to enjoy.
