The car is very often the preferred approach to navigate Chelan. It is convenient to find a parking spot. However, public transit riders may experience few options in Chelan due to the low service level. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the census county division, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Even though the bicycling infrastructure is fairly extensive, and a few bicycling-friendly pockets exist, the bike is a rather limited mode of transportation in Chelan as there are quite a few elevation changes.
