Moving around by car is very easy in this community. It is especially convenient to access a place to park. However, Chamisal is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and it is easy to find a nearby bus stop from most residences. Bicycling is difficult in Chamisal because there are few bike lanes, and cyclists encounter quite a few elevation changes. Most homes for sale in this community are located in places that are also not very well-suited for those who prefer to get around as pedestrians since running common errands is very difficult without a car.
