Central Business District offers excellent accessibility by car, with many residences situated just minutes from major highways such as I-20. Several bus lines connect the neighborhood, and bus stops are typically close by, providing public transit options. The area features a variety of local businesses, including numerous restaurants and cafes just nearby. Its peaceful atmosphere creates a calm and relaxing environment with minimal street activity. Housing mainly consists of large apartment buildings and duplexes, featuring comfortable one-bedroom layouts and lofts from a well-established period of development.

This area is an extremely convenient part of Shreveport for traveling by car. The majority of properties for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as I-20, and it is very convenient to park. However, the public transit network in Central Business District is not very convenient. Thankfully, there are around 10 bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily very close by. Despite the fact that traveling by bike is moderately prevalent, commuting by bicycle is at times difficult in Central Business District since there are quite a few hills, and the bicycling infrastructure is somewhat poor. There are also relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this neighborhood, even though running day-to-day errands is easy without a vehicle, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well.

Services

There are only a few primary schools in this neighborhood and therefore they can be a long trip away. Moreover, Central Business District does not contain any high schools. With regards to food, house buyers in this part of Shreveport will appreciate that a grocery store is always only a rather long pedestrian trip away. Likewise, a restaurant is generally just around the corner, and home buyers benefit from a few cafes as well. It is also easy to reach a variety of clothing stores without the need to get in a vehicle.

Character

Those who enjoy a vibrant atmosphere will feel at home in Central Business District. Although this part of the city is not known for its lively ambience, finding one of the approximately 20 nightlife venues is very easy since they are generally situated in especially convenient locations. Thanks to the presence of very few pedestrians, this area is relatively quiet; however there can be more noise for those who are closer to I-20 or one of the railway lines.
