Driving is a reasonably good medium of transportation in Cave Hill. Parking is generally easy. On the other hand, commuting by public transit is difficult in Cave Hill. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighborhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. This part of the urban county is not particularly conducive to pedestrians because few daily errands can be run without a car. Although it is an even ride to most destinations, moving around by bicycle is also occasionally challenging in Cave Hill because the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive.
The nearest grocery store in Cave Hill is usually only a rather short pedestrian trip away. Moreover, this area is a good place in which to eat out, and there are also a few cafes in this neighborhood. With regards to education, it is a reasonably short pedestrian trip to get to high schools from anywhere in Cave Hill. In contrast, Cave Hill does not have any primary schools.
People who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere will enjoy Cave Hill. Most areas in this neighborhood are very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor. Lastly, although Cave Hill does not contain any parks, parks are especially well-distributed in nearby neighborhoods, making them easy to get to.
