Castlewood is a fairly pleasant part of Centennial for pedestrians; most daily needs are easy to carry out without a car, and various businesses are reasonably close at hand. Traveling by bicycle is also easy in this neighborhood. The public transit service in this part of the city is not very frequent. Thankfully, house owners profit from Arapahoe / Village Center Station and Dry Creek Station on the Union Station - Ridgegate and Peoria - Lincoln. The neighborhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically relatively close by. However, Castlewood is very car friendly. Many homes for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, and it is very easy to park.

Services

House owners will welcome the proximity to primary schools, which are within a short distance from most, if not all, homes for sale in Castlewood. On the other hand, Castlewood does not have any high schools. With respect to eating, a grocery store is generally reachable within a reasonably short trip from most properties for sale in this part of the city. Additionally, there are a fair number of choices for those who care about nearby restaurants and cafes. It is also convenient to get to a selection of clothing stores without the need for a vehicle.

Castlewood has a character that caters to a fairly diverse group of people. Castlewood is very quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. However, it is easy to get to parks from a lot of locations within the neighborhood since there are approximately 20 of them close by for residents to visit. Lastly, although the atmosphere is not the most lively in this area with its about 10 nightlife venues, there are options for nighttime activities.
