Traveling as a pedestrian is fairly practical for residents in Cascade View; many common errands can be run without a vehicle, and a variety of businesses are close at hand. On the other hand, it is difficult to get around by bicycle in this part of Everett because there are few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of hills for cyclists to brave. Driving is an excellent transportation option in this neighborhood. Parking is quite easy, and nearby highways, such as Boeing Freeway, are very easy to access from anywhere in Cascade View. In contrast, commuting by public transit is challenging in this part of the city. Nevertheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most properties.
Services
Home buyers in this part of Everett will appreciate that a grocery store is always only a short trip away. Furthermore, there are a fair number of options for those who care about nearby restaurants and cafes. It is also a reasonably short distance to a decent choice of clothing stores. With respect to education, in Cascade View, locals will usually be able to get to both primary and secondary schools without the need for a car. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools.
Character
Cascade View is unique in that it contains both vibrant and quiet areas, making it appealing to more people. Even though the atmosphere is not the most lively in this area with its approximately 10 nightlife venues, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located around the corner. At the same time, this part of Everett is very quiet, as the streets tend to be very calm close to Boeing Freeway. Public green spaces aren't well-distributed, making it occasionally difficult to reach them. Despite that, there are about 20 parks nearby for residents to relax in.
