However, it is occasionally difficult to move around by bike in Cascade Valley as there are few bike lanes, and there is a significant amount of slopes. This neighborhood is very car friendly. It is very convenient to park, and many properties for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway. In contrast, getting around by public transit is challenging in Cascade Valley. Thankfully, there is the Akron Northside with access to the National Park Scenic Railway. The neighborhood is linked by approximately 10 bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses.
Both primary and secondary schools are easy to access without a vehicle from most houses for sale in Cascade Valley. Apart from public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. With regards to food, it is easy to reach the closest grocery store without a car in this part of Akron. Moreover, Cascade Valley is a good place in which to eat out, and home buyers can enjoy a few cafes as well. It is also convenient to access a number of clothing stores without needing a car.
Cascade Valley is appealing, as it contains both vibrant and quiet areas. Even though the atmosphere is not the liveliest in this neighborhood finding one of the a few bars is easy since they are generally located a short distance away. At the same time, this area is quiet overall, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue, although that is not the case near one of the railway lines.
