Commuting by car is very easy in Cascade. It is very convenient to park. Many of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are not very suitable for those who like to get around as pedestrians as very few common errands can be run without needing to resort to a car. The bike is a rather limited mode of transportation in Cascade since there are a good number of slopes to challenge cyclists, and the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive.

Services

High schools and primary schools are not numerous in Cascade, and therefore tend to be a very long distance away. Apart from public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. With respect to eating, getting to one of about 20 grocery stores as pedestrians is possible for some, but not all, home buyers in Cascade. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops are available as well.

Character

Cascade offers a slower-paced ambience. Cascade is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor closer to I-96, one of the railway lines or one of the 2 airports (Somerville,Gerald R. Ford Intl). Parks aren't well-situated, making them sometimes difficult to access. Still, there are about 30 green spaces nearby for residents to explore, including Cascade Peace Park and Airport Viewing Area.
